Personally Fit presents our comprehensive program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. Our services include:
Physical Therapy: Evaluation and Treatment: Our philosophy is that every individual diagnosed with Parkinson’s should have a Physical Therapist that knows their situation and can provide on-going consultation to insure the appropriate exercise program at the appropriate time. This is a benefit that is coordinated through your insurance. We also have affordable cash rates for those who don’t have coverage for physical therapy.
Personal Training: We offer one-on-one or group training by our staff of experienced trainers, who hold college degrees in exercise science and have rehabilitation backgrounds. These trainers also participate in our class programming. Personal training is not covered by insurance, but at Personally Fit we make it affordable for your situation.
Parkinson’s Functional Fitness Class: This class is taught by veteran PT and Parkinson’s specialist, Doris Flood, MS PT. Doris has over 30 years of experience in dealing with Neurological disorders and has been leading this class for the past few years. Incorporating components of Big and Loud training, Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery training, and her PT background, the class focus is flexibility, movement and balance, with a goal of maximum independence and mobility.

We require a 60 minute assessment with a physical therapist to gather baseline information and measurements regarding agility, balance, and coordination. There is a $90 fee for the assessment, which can be applied to the program dues if you choose to join. The first two classes are free to trial!
We offer a special monthly fee for people with Parkinson’s which includes ALL classes at Personally Fit and use of the gym including weekends for $100/month.
